ASSOCIATE MARKETING MANAGER – FOOD SERVICE AND INGREDIENTS 

 

Department: Marketing

Position Description: 

 

The Food Service and Ingredient Marketing Manager is responsible for the execution of Foodservice and Ingredient marketing plans to deliver sales and profit goals for Sartori Company by working with the FS&I sales team in preparing materials for key customer presentations, leading and working cross-functionally on project teams, reporting on relevant industry and category  insights, assisting with market assessments and projections, and managing the current product portfolio throughout the product life cycle.. 

 

-Partners with sales team on timely, value-added, strategically based selling tools and supports account-specific marketing needs.

 

-Tracking and analysis of FS&I industry, menu, and cultural trends to drive successful business insights for Sartori and our customers.

 

-Partners with the sales team and R&D to manage culinary resources to ensure successful new product execution and development of on-trend /on-brand applications for trade shows and customer meetings.

 

-Utilizes proprietary and secondary market research (including Datassentials and Technomics) to enhance positioning and tailor presentations to meet the specific needs and strategies of existing and prospective customers.

 

-Works with the Director of Marketing to conduct market research identifying emerging trends, customer needs, and/or challenges that provide insights and outline opportunities leading to product or packaging innovation.

 

-Supports new product development with analysis of product categories/ segments and leads launch execution –including some cross-functional teams.

 

-Develops market potentials and projections for new products and line extensions.

 

-Executes various tactics and programs outlined in the annual marketing strategy and plan across National Account, Ingredient and Broker Channels.

 

-Manages product line and develops positioning for individual products, both existing and new items at the tactical level.

 

Position Requirements: 

 

A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or another related field and a minimum of 3 years of progressive marketing experience, required..  Experience executing marketing plans and overseeing projects, a plus.  A background in food service / restaurant marketing, preferred.  Qualified candidates will have knowledge of basic financials, strong analytical skills, project management and prioritization skills.  Those who apply should have a focus on customer service with the desire and initiative to work in a fast-paced  team environment.

DIRECTOR OF ORDER FULFILLMENT

 

Department: Finance

Position Description: 

 

The Director of Order Fulfillment will be responsible for the ongoing development and effective management of Sartori’s order fulfillment process, including the oversight and management of the sales and production forecast, materials planning and procurement, order entry and order fulfillment in a manner that maximizes customer satisfaction.  This position will establish operational targets to improve on-time delivery, support product and process innovation, reduce lead times, increase inventory turns, lower operational costs and expand Sartori’s distribution network. 

 

-Develops and executes a strategic Order Fulfillment plan aligned with the overall Sartori Company strategic plan that results in improved customer service and increased profitability.

 

-Develops customer service processes and systems to increase the quality and efficiency of support to both internal and external customers.

 

-Identifies and integrates business system processes within Sartori’s ERP system including CRM, MRP, MPS and other related system processes.

 

-Leads the development and implementation of a comprehensive forecasting and production planning model which increases customer service levels and improves operational efficiencies.

 

-Manages and optimizes long-term partnerships with suppliers that result in continuous improvements and support of product and process innovations.

 

-Negotiates and reviews purchasing contracts and supplier agreements that result in improved quality, terms and cost.

 

-Implements order replenishment strategies to drive improved customer service levels.

 

-Develops and executes a comprehensive logistics and distribution plan to optimize customer service levels and profitability.

 

Position Requirements: 

 

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or another related field plus seven years’ experience in a senior Purchasing, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, or Operations role.  Advanced training or certifications in Purchasing or Materials Management, preferred.  A strong candidate will have knowledge of business processes related to purchasing, customer service, sales forecasting, and operational planning in addition to demonstrated management, organizational, and problem solving skills.  Those who apply should have a proven track record in building and streamlining business systems and processes utilizing an ERP system.

PROCESS ENGINEER


Department: Operations

Location: Plymouth, WI

Position Type:  Full- Time

 

Position Description:


This key position will be responsible for identifying, implementing and measuring performance of new manufacturing technologies and unique processing and packaging techniques that support new products, creates manufacturing flexibility, drives continuous improvement in productivity.  This position will also develop and implement operating procedures and processes for existing manufacturing and converting operations focused on continuous improvement in safety, quality and productivity. 

 

- Analyzes, designs and implements changes to equipment layout and work flow

 

- Analyzes processing and packaging technology and equipment to effectively recommend the most effective methods of manufacturing that will provide innovative competitive advantage.

 

- Provides technical assistance and engineering support to the new product development process from concept through commercialization.

 

- Works directly with product development to determine appropriate process to commercialize new products, develop commercialization cost models and assure a smooth transition from concept to full scale production.

 

- Sources equipment vendors to support expansion of manufacturing processes and commercialization of new products. 

 

- Works with operations to develop work instructions, training and statistical performance measures for new or improved processes and equipment.

 

 

Position Requirements:


Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/Manufacturing Systems) is required.  5 years of experience within the Food, Pharmaceutical, or Chemical industries, preferred.  The candidate must demonstrate successful cross-functional project management in a food manufacturing environment.  Drafting experience with AutoCAD or other drafting software, required.  A qualified candidate will have knowledge of lean manufacturing methods, strong creative thinking skills, and demonstrated leadership skills.

QUALITY ASSURANCE COORDINATOR


Department: Quality Assurance 

Location: Plymouth, WI (West Main)

Education Required:  Associate’s degree

Experience Required: 1-3 Years

Position Type: Full Time  

 

Position Description:


This is a key position for assuring adherence to the Sartori Quality System, including; heading continuous improvement initiatives, leading facility quality training efforts and assuring compliance to customer, regulatory and third-party quality and food safety guidelines. This cross-functional position requires knowledge and application of laboratory testing protocols.

 

Oversees facility adherence to Sartori Quality System policies. Updates quality systems, policies and work instructions as needed.

 

Serves as the facility quality program instructor for HACCP, GMP, Allergen, Food Defense, and SQS Policies.

 

Leads facility inspection team to assure adherence to quality and food safety standards. Participates in regulatory/customer/3rd-party inspections at West Main and East Main facility.

 

Performs current procedures for microbiological and chemical analysis. Assures that calibrations are maintained on all equipment.

 

Assists with verification and validation of sanitation processes and procedures. Works with food sanitation team and plant team members on work instructions and building sanitation knowledge.

 

Uses cross-functional teams to improve processes and methodology. 

 

- Leads action teams focusing on root cause analysis and corrective action.

 

Position Requirements:


An Associate’s degree in Food Science or Microbiology and 1-3 years of QA experience in a food manufacturing facility, required. HACCP Certification, SQF Practitioner Status, WI Pasteurizer and Cheese Maker’s Licenses desirable. A qualified candidate will have good people skills, with special ability to lead and establish work priorities, have the ability to conduct effective training, and rudimentary knowledge of scientific principles and practices.
