Pick your board.
Anything goes, but you’ll often see rectangular wood boards used. However, any size or shape will work. Don’t forget some small dishes for plating & serving.
Select your favorite cheeses & try a couple of new ones.
Start with what you know and love, such as Sartori® Gold BellaVitano®, Merlot BellaVitano®, or MontAmoré® Cheddar. Then layer in a few other cheeses – try our Garlic & Herb BellaVitano®, add a soft, creamy brie, or finish it off with our delicious SarVecchio® Parmesan. You can never have enough cheese! Our recommendation is to take your cheese out of the refrigerator approximately 30 minutes before serving.
Choose complementary items.
Charcuterie boards often include cured meats, olives, nuts, fresh & dried fruits, crackers, crusty bread, jam, and honey. Don’t be afraid to mix salty & sweet!
Add some fresh herb sprigs.
Sprigs of fresh rosemary, thyme, sage, and lavender can add a nice pop of color and enhance the sensory experience.
