Sartori® Classic Asiago Grilled Cheese

  • 1 wedge Sartori Classic Asiago, shredded
  • 6 slices Pullman loaf, 1/2-inch thick
  • 1 head garlic
  • 1 chicken breast, cooked & sliced
  • 1 cup sundried tomatoes
  • Butter, softened


  • Cut garlic head in half, wrap in foil and roast at 300°F until tender and sweet (about an hour). Cool slightly and squeeze out cloves. Mash together to form a paste.
  • Heat a cast-iron pan over medium-low heat.
  • Thinly spread one side of each bread slice with butter. Spread the other with garlic paste. Place butter side down on the pan and layer chicken, tomatoes and Classic Asiago. Top with another bread slice (butter side up). Repeat for other sandwiches.
  • Carefully flip when bottom is golden brown and cheese starts to melt.
  • Once Asiago is fully melted, remove from pan and serve.
