Two Jucy Lucy cheeseburgers with melting Montamore Cheddar Cheese Bites

If you’ve ever thought to yourself, “This burger needs more cheese,” this one’s for you.

Ingredients

Sartori® Cheese

Merlot BellaVitano®


24 oz. (1½ lbs.) ground beef

¾ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon onion powder

¼ teaspoon ground pepper

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

2 tbsp. ice water

4 Sartori Cheese Bites, unwrapped

4 burger buns

Toppings and condiments, as desired

Directions

Step 1

Place the ground beef, salt, onion powder, pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl; sprinkle with ice

Step 2

Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions; shape each into 3-inch-wide patties. Place one Cheese Bite in the center of one beef patty; top with a second patty, gently pressing and pinching the edges to seal. Repeat with the remaining patties and Cheese Bites. The final patties should be about 4 inches wide.

Step 3

Prepare grill or heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Place burgers on grill or in pan; cook 6 minutes. Flip burgers and cook an additional 5 minutes or until desired degree of doneness. Remove from heat.

Step 4

Serve burgers on buns with desired condiments … and ENJOY!
